What excites me most is translating the images that emerge from the mind into something tangible. While photography can capture a moment in an instant, painting allows us to bring to life what resides in our thoughts—images layered and built over time. These mental images fascinate me because they accumulate slowly, one layer of color and form atop another, mirroring the way memories and dreams are constructed.
Painting offers not only a medium to express these inner visions but also the technical depth to explore its material possibilities. I am drawn to the tactile nature of large-scale paintings, which have the power to evoke dreamlike, melancholic, and nostalgic landscapes. Through my work, I aim to create visual worlds that feel simultaneously intimate and expansive, reflecting the complexity and commonality of the human experience.
